Oregon Climate and Agriculture Network

OrCAN supports wide-spread adoption of agricultural practices relevant to Oregon producers which effectively sequester carbon in the soil and mitigate climate change such as: reduced tillage, cover cropping, additions of organic matter, and other innovative practices.  We hope to identify best practices, promote them as widely as possible, and provide producers with specific skills and resources to implement them. In addition, we advocate for state and federal policies that incentivize these practices and facilitate small and sustainable farms’ access to incentives.
